A clearer way to present your design

Create the space.
Make the image convincing.

Learn to read a render as a designer: what draws the eye, how the finishes respond to light and whether the image communicates the intended atmosphere.

Develop a workflow you can repeat across residential interiors, furniture studies and architectural scenes. Practise, compare variations and refine the presentation with trainer feedback.

01 / MATERIALS

Give each surface character

Connect texture scale, roughness and surface detail to the finish you want to show.

02 / LIGHTING

Build a deliberate atmosphere

Balance daylight and practical lights. Use LightMix to compare their contributions.

03 / PRESENTATION

Make every view purposeful

Choose strong cameras, review the image and prepare a consistent presentation set.

What is Chaos Corona? Corona is a CPU-based rendering engine with plugins for 3ds Max and Cinema 4D. Create and organise the model in your host application, then use Corona to develop its lighting, materials and rendered presentation.

01 Scene setup & rendering foundations Build a reliable starting point
  • Choose the Corona renderer and organise the project in your supported host application.
  • Check model scale, geometry, camera placement and asset paths.
  • Use interactive previews to review changes before a production render.

Practice output: an organised scene and first preview.

02 Corona Physical Material & texture mapping Make surfaces believable
  • Develop timber, stone, metal, glass and fabric studies.
  • Work with texture scale, roughness, reflection, refraction and surface detail.
  • Compare material behaviour under consistent lighting.

Practice output: a coordinated finish palette.

03 Sun, sky, HDRI & interior lighting Shape the atmosphere
  • Compare daylight setups with sun, sky and HDRI environments.
  • Place suitable Corona lights and study their size, position and intensity.
  • Balance window light and practical lights in an interior scene.

Practice output: daylight and evening lighting studies.

04 LightMix & lighting variations Refine the mood after rendering
  • Organise lights and environments into useful LightSelect groups.
  • Adjust their intensities and colours through LightMix in the VFB.
  • Save lighting variations and discuss when changes should return to the scene.

Practice output: a set of purposeful lighting alternatives.

05 Cameras, exposure & composition Frame the design clearly
  • Choose viewpoints, focal length and a suitable aspect ratio.
  • Study exposure, vertical alignment and depth of field.
  • Prepare a wide view and close-up detail views with a clear visual hierarchy.

Practice output: a consistent set of presentation cameras.

06 Cosmos assets, Scatter & scene efficiency Add detail with control
  • Place suitable render-ready assets and adjust them to the brief.
  • Explore Scatter for repeated objects, planting or exterior context.
  • Review proxies, textures and memory use as scene complexity grows.

Practice output: a furnished or landscaped scene.

07 VFB, tone mapping & final output Finish the image with intention
  • Refine exposure, white balance, contrast and restrained bloom or glare.
  • Compare render limits, noise and denoising without losing important detail.
  • Save final images and discuss CXR files for further Corona Image Editor work.

Practice output: a reviewed image set and reusable output workflow.

08 Portfolio project & current workflows Connect the skills in one presentation
  • Develop an agreed interior, residence or architectural brief.
  • Apply trainer feedback to lighting, finishes, camera views and final outputs.
  • Discuss current Corona and optional AI tools where your batch and licence support them.

Practice output: a coherent project presentation.

Before you enrol

Corona training
questions, answered.

Can beginners join this Corona rendering course?

Yes. Share your design and computer experience with admissions. Basic 3D modelling knowledge helps you prepare a scene for rendering. If you need modelling foundations first, ask about a suitable 3ds Max pathway.

Does Corona work with 3ds Max or Cinema 4D?

Corona has plugins for 3ds Max and Cinema 4D. Tell us which host application and version you use so admissions can confirm the platform, trainer and exercises available for your batch.

Is Corona a CPU or GPU renderer?

Corona rendering uses the CPU. Optional AI denoising and upscaling have separate hardware requirements. CPU performance, RAM, scene size and your host application all matter when preparing a training computer.

Will I learn LightMix and interior lighting?

The learning pathway includes sun, sky, HDRI environments, artificial lights and LightMix. Practise grouping light contributions and refining their intensity and colour in the VFB during or after rendering.

Will I work on a practical project?

Discuss an interior, residence, furniture or architectural brief with admissions. Agree the model, camera views, lighting studies and final presentation outputs when choosing your course plan.

Are current Corona features and AI tools included?

The page highlights Corona 15 tools and the connected Veras workflow. Confirm the installed build and training coverage. Optional products, online access, plan entitlements and credits depend on your software arrangements.

Can I join from Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Ajman or elsewhere in the GCC?

Enquire about Sharjah classroom training or online live options. Share your location, time zone, preferred timing and language so the team can confirm a suitable batch.

What are the course fees, hours and batch timings?

Request the current syllabus and quotation for training hours, project scope, fees and start dates. Ask about evening or weekend options and available Tabby or Tamara instalment arrangements.

Which certificate will I receive?

Ask admissions about the CADD International course or project completion certificate and its completion requirements. Eligible KHDA attestation and additional charges should be confirmed with your quotation.

Is a personal Corona or 3ds Max licence included?

Confirm training access, personal software licences and any educational eligibility separately with admissions. Share your existing software and computer setup before enrolment.
