Before you enrol

Questions about MicroStation training?

What will I learn in the MicroStation course?
The learning path covers file setup, precision drafting, levels, cells, annotation, references, selected 3D modelling exercises and drawing-sheet production. Confirm the detailed syllabus for your selected programme.
Can I join if I already use AutoCAD?
Yes. AutoCAD users can discuss a transition plan covering MicroStation terminology, interface, DGN organisation, references and drawing outputs.
Does MicroStation support DGN and DWG files?
MicroStation works with DGN and supports DWG/DXF workflows. File settings and work modes affect compatibility, so the course includes reviewing suitable exchange and output practices.
Is MicroStation the same as OpenRoads Designer?
They are different Bentley applications. MicroStation focuses on general CAD drafting and modelling, while OpenRoads Designer provides specialist roadway workflows. Tell admissions if your goal is road alignments, corridors or detailed highway design.
Does the course include both 2D and 3D?
The proposed learning path includes 2D drafting and selected 3D modelling exercises. Ask the team to confirm the depth and duration of each part for your programme.
Which MicroStation version will be used?
Confirm the training version before enrolment. Share your employer’s version if you need a specific workflow. Tools and automation features can vary by release.
Can I attend from Dubai, Abu Dhabi or outside the UAE?
Discuss online live training with admissions. Classroom enquiries are handled through our Sharjah centre, and the team can advise on other branch arrangements.
What are the fee, duration and next batch date?
Contact admissions for the current syllabus, course duration, fee, payment options and schedule. Your experience and preferred project focus help the team recommend a suitable plan.
Will I receive a certificate?
Ask about the CADD International course-completion certificate and completion requirements. If you need a separate Bentley credential, confirm its availability, eligibility and assessment process before enrolling.
